In dynamic communities such as schools, policies and procedures serve as effective regulators in the school environment. They are a way of establishing a system of best practice and provide a clear and transparent process for all to follow. Some policies are mandatory e.g. enrolment, child protection, anti-bullying and behaviour, while others show the depth of thought behind what might appear to be tradition or custom.
The school and Board of Management continue to review and update these policies and procedures and will consult with teachers, parents and concerned groups as the occasion arises.
